The Oil painting with the title “Nude” by artist Hoang Duc Dung.

This original painting is one of the author’s familiar styles depicting the people, simple life, landscape of countryside in Vietnam. He inspired and created it in 2018

Painter Hoang Duc Dung makes viewers of his paintings dream between reality and reality, immersed in the painting style that has made him famous for more than 10 years. In Dung’s paintings, the days of change of seasons filled with early morning dew, hazy clouds in the highlands or the countryside river hidden in the morning dew… all appear with a dreamlike blur.

Painter Hoang Duc Dung has blurred the surface of the paintings to create rhythmic movement. Looking at his paintings, viewers seem to see a slight floating cloud, a mist being blown away by the slow wind… and feel more clearly about the transition between reality and reality. This artist offers.

In particular, painter Nguyen Duc Dung does not use many colors but “takes advantage” of many color shades to create a blur effect, the transformation of emotional layers in the painting. The drawings are on a flat surface, but create a deep depth, sometimes objects appear to be floating, clearly visible on the surface. His works tend to be light and bright colors to evoke lightness, thereby expressing a dim, deep space without being too intense, evoking the viewer’s inner peace. Painter Duc Dung confided: “Everybody wants to have peace and quiet, especially now that life has too many influences and pressures to make people no longer themselves. I want to use the gradation, the gradation of the colors to bring a sense of peace, familiarity and closeness to the viewer.”
